I tried running your puzzle game with the latest stable mootools and the edge version (1.2.1) and it errs because it seems elements (in this case timer) called with the $() function have not been properly extended! The error is that the method setText is not a method of timer. It works with mootools 1.1 because the $() function does the following:
el = document.getElementById(el);

This functionality seems to have disappeared in 1.2.x

Hi, very nice puzzle....
I have been playing with it also, there's a little bug in it. Pressing a few pieces (no drag), and then drag a piece, messes the game up. Can you fix it?
Keep up the Articles (I like to read them)
