I’ve updated my previous post Mootools CSS Styled Scrollbar. I’ve added instructions about how to make it work with Mootools version 1.11. Also the example is updated. On the Mootools forums someone called ‘horseweapon’ wrote a simple function that used my code to make scrollbars. I used his function to work with the example. You can see the updated example over here.

I’m trying to make it work with dynamic content.

I have php script running and counting items within the #content then php multiplies the count of the width of .item. then with mootools help it sets width of #inner.
but.. there is a problem. everything works fine in firefox and opera, but I had no luck to make it work on safari nor ie.
Maybe it’s not the plugins problem, but my lack of javascript/mootools developing knowledge.

Very nice – I was looking for something jsut like this earlier (and oddly enough, it’s been pointed out the “mootools” version doesn’t work in IE7 – whereas yours works (and looks much better!)
