It has a bit of an overhead ( you need to get the whole library, or at least the chart's dependancies ) but you don't rely on any external api for your app. You can have a look <a href="http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/charts/" rel="nofollow">here</a>. However, it is to be noted that the control is still experimental. YUI ( yahoo’s lib ) has a great chart component. The google code is probably bloated and based off its own support libraries, what do you figure? I'm supposing google's implementation is good or you would be continuing on your own?
