I need vanilla Eclipse for it's CVS functionality, but now I can have the best of both worlds. Once thing you might want to check out is the <a href="http://code.google.com/p/minify/" rel="nofollow">Minify</a> project. It automatically concatenates and compresses JavaScript AND CSS, caching the results so it really cuts down load time. No extra build steps necesary. I've <a href="http://www.vulgarisoip.com/2007/06/21/minify-your-external-javascript-and-css-with-php/" rel="nofollow">written</a> about my experiences with it and modified the code to work with PHP 4.
